Access to justice
3Pay’s litigation funding facility empowers potential claimants by providing them with the necessary funding to litigate a claim. We also provide protection against having to pay an opponent’s legal costs in the unlikely event of a claim not succeeding.
With our litigation funding service, 3Pay ensures that claimants have the necessary financial backing to pursue compelling and likely-to-succeed claims.
In exchange for a percentage of the damages awarded, or in the case of a settlement, 3Pay takes care of all the claimant's legal disbursements.
Importantly, our service does not impose any cost liability on the claimant if the claim does not succeed.
In the initial phase, collaboration begins with the solicitor's firm and the claimant, reaching an agreement to pursue litigation on a conditional-fee agreement in relation to the solicitor's legal fees. 3Pay will then cover 100% of the pre-agreed legal disbursement costs up to £3,000,000.
Successful claims
Successful claimants receive the net surplus after the following deductions have been made:
- 3Pay’s funding facility plus interest
- Solicitors' fees
3Pay is only repaid when the claim is successful. Claimants do not repay 3Pay if the claim does not succeed.
